Fox Big Noon broadcast on the field before kickoff between Michigan and Texas at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
A lot of eyes were on Texas in Ann Arbor.
Fox Sports has announced the Longhorns at Michigan game was the most-watched college football game this season on any network. It was also Saturday’s most-watched telecast of the day on any network. Fox’s PR department says the viewing audience was 9.35 million.
Now that Texas is in the SEC, whose primary TV partner is ABC/ESPN, the Longhorns will be on Fox Sports a lot less. Saturday’s dominating win over the Wolverines will be the final game on Fox Sports of the season for the Longhorns.

This was also the only time Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt will be at a Texas game. Klatt was impressed by three things about the Longhorns in the 31-12 blowout.
Texas (2-0) returns to action against UTSA (1-1) on Saturday (6 p.m., ESPN).
