As the college football season heads into Week 3, the excitement is palpable for the Thursday Night showdown between the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Texas State Bobcats in San Marcos, Texas.

The Sun Devils had a thrilling 30-23 victory over Mississippi State in Week 2. Quarterback Sam Leavitt’s stellar performance, running in two touchdowns, and running back Cam Skattebo’s standout game, rushing for a career-high 262 yards, extended Arizona State’s season record to 2-0.

The Texas State Bobcats had an impressive 49-10 victory over the UTSA Roadrunners in Week 2. Quarterback Jordan McCloud led the way for Texas State, completing 18 of 27 attempts for 309 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 30 yards and two touchdowns.

Now, Texas State is determined to carry forward its momentum and extend its winning streak into Week 3, when it faces Arizona State in a challenging matchup.
