Georgia football injury report: SEC releases Bulldogs’ list for Kentucky game

The first official Georgia football injury report — officially termed by the SEC as an “availability report” — was released Wednesday night ahead of Saturday’s game at Kentucky.

The list includes five players ranging from out to questionable.

Additional reports will be submitted by schools and released on Thursday and Friday and another at least 90 minutes prior to kickoff Saturday.

Here’s a rundown of where Georgia stands. The SEC does not specify why a player is listed, but injuries have previously been reported.

It’s worth noting that these players aren’t listed that sustained injuries in Saturday’s game: TE Oscar Delp, ankle; RB Nate Frazier, shoulder; DL Nasir Johnson, lower leg.

Here’s what Georgia coach Kirby Smart said on Tuesday about defensive linemen Hall and McLeoad: “Jordan and Xavier have got pads on and got running and moving around doing some functional movement stuff. Got to do ‘indy’ and doing some stuff. We’ll see how it goes. I’m proud of both of them because they’re pushing hard.”

And here’s what Smart said of Williams on Monday: “He’s got to be able to practice. He’s got to be able to go out and compete and run, put pressure on it. He’s doing a great job of rehab. He did a great job this weekend of getting extra time in, and we’ll see where he’s at.”

Kentucky’s initial list on Wednesday had 13 players on it.
