College football rankings: SEC teams in updated Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 after Week 3

Week 3 in the Southeastern Conference lived up to the hype and attention surrounding the conference.

In its first true road game in Big Ten country in over a decade, No. 4 Alabama (3-0) picked up its first signature win of the Kalen DeBoer era, as the Crimson Tide handled Wisconsin with ease, 42-10, at Camp Randall Stadium. Quarterback Jalen Milroe finished with 196 passing yards, 75 rushing yards and five combined touchdowns.

Speaking of signature wins, Brian Kelly and No. 17 LSU (2-1, 1-0 in SEC play) escaped with a thrilling 36-33 win at South Carolina. Josh Williams completed the come-from-behind win for LSU with a 2-yard rushing touchdown late in the fourth quarter. South Carolina (2-1, 1-1 in SEC play) lost quarterback LaNorris Sellers in the loss with an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, No. 1 Georgia survived a road trip to Kentucky, defeating Mark Stoops’ Wildcats 13-12, while Texas A&M upended Florida 33-20 in The Swamp.
