Tennessee football vs Oklahoma gets ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ in Josh Heupel’s return

Tennessee football will be featured on ESPN’s “College GameDay” when it goes to Oklahoma.

ESPN announced it will be in Norman, Oklahoma, when the Vols and Sooners play on Sept. 21. Vols coach Josh Huepel played quarterback at Oklahoma, winning the national title in 2000. He was the Heisman runner-up that season.

Heupel also coached at OU, starting his career as a graduate assistant in 2003-04. He was an assistant coach from 2006-14.

Oklahoma is in its first season in the SEC.
