In what was a down week for the Bay County football teams, Mosley was the only program to secure a victory. Inclement weather played a huge factor in matchups along with a controversial call in an overtime thriller.
This week’s Bay County power rankings are based on game results, margin of victory and strength of opponent.
1. Mosley (4-0)

It was not pretty by any means but the Dolphins scored their fourth straight win against a struggling Navarre team. Quarterback Sammy Freitas turned the ball over twice in the first half, but recovered with two passing touchdowns and big runs in the second half. Receiver Carson Griffin hauled in his county-leading sixth touchdown reception. Senior running back Lo’Kavion Jackson rushed for two touchdowns, leading the county with seven on the year.
The defense has found a new star, with linebacker Will Arboleda getting two sacks last week and contributing with tackles for loss and on special teams.
2. Arnold (3-1)

The Marlins held a 10-7 lead at the half against South Walton and would only score a field goal in the remaining two quarters. The wet field posed a huge barrier for the Arnold offense with bobbled handoffs and fumbled snaps. Quarterback Will Cotter had impressive throws late in the second half, but an interception in the back of the end zone proved too much to overcome.
The Marlins defense shined with linebacker Mack Jones totaling 11 tackles and four tackles for loss.
3. Bay (1-3)
