Norman, Oklahoma has become the epicenter of college football this week. One of the biggest home games in recent memory for the Oklahoma Sooners has all of the storylines you could possibly imagine.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel is OU’s most recent national championship winning quarterback and served as an assistant coach for ten years under former head coach Bob Stoops. The final four years of his time in Norman came as the offensive coordinator, before he was fired following the 2014 season. Heupel has rebounded extremely well, becoming the head coach at UCF in 2018 before taking his current gig in 2021. He’s in the midst of Year 4 in Knoxville, and has done an excellent job of reviving the program on Rocky Top.
