The Rocky Mountain Showdown between Colorado and Colorado State once again drew millions of eyes.

A total of 3.2 million viewers tuned in to watch the Buffaloes beat the Rams 28-9 in front of a sold-out Canvas Stadium. The Showdown last year drew 9.3 million viewers.

Colorado’s 28-10 loss to Nebraska in Week 2 drew an average of 6.3 million viewers, according to NBC. It was the most-watched Big Ten Saturday Night game on the network (and the first to exceed five million viewers) since the series debuted in 2023.

The Buffs’ season-opening win vs. NDSU averaged 4.8 million viewers, peaking at 5.6 million, according to Front Office Sports. It was ESPN’s best Thursday opener since 2017 and up 49% over last year’s.

Colorado will be on national TV (FOX) once again in Week 4 as it hosts Baylor for homecoming. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. MT on Saturday, Sept. 21.
