Jerel Bolder
Forest Hill | Sr., WR
Though unable to reach the end zone last week against the Community School of Davidson, Bolder caught five passes for 101 yards in a 36-7 win. Through four games, he’s accounted for more than half his team’s receiving yards (309) and a touchdown on 24 receptions.
Bolder committed to NC State earlier this summer.
Matthew Boring
Hoggard | So., QB
After a nearly perfect outing the previous week in a win over Wallace-Rose Hill, the Hoggard sophomore quarterback remained sharp in a 45-6 rout of J.H. Rose. Boring completed 13 of 17 passes for 182 yards and four touchdowns.
The 6-foot-2, 182-pound quarterback has thrown for 597 yards and eight touchdowns, leading Hoggard to wins in two of its first three games.
Marquis Bryant
Rolesville | So., DB
Bryant set a career-high with 11 tackles in a 30-27 win over Cardinal Gibbons. Through three games, he has 24 tackles and an interception.
