Michigan football had only lost one game in the big game blues before this season, the 2021 College Football Playoff against Georgia. But the Wolverines wore them again and were trounced by Texas in Week 2.
The maize and blue have a chance at redemption with USC coming to town to open up Big Ten play, and the plan is for the fans to stripe out The Big House. It turns out, the Wolverines will be going for a similar look with their uniforms.
The official Michigan football X account posted the uniform combo for Saturday’s game against the Trojans and the Wolverines will wear all blue uniforms but with one caveat — it will also be wearing maize accessories, somewhat resembling what the team is going for within the stadium.
Of course, none of this will matter if the Wolverines cannot come up with a win. Already at 2-1 on the season, Michigan has yet to put together a solid game from start to finish. And with Alex Orji taking over at quarterback, it’s unclear exactly what this team will look like on Saturday — except for the uniforms.
