Texas A&M (2-1. 1-0 SEC) is headed back to Kyle Field for a Saturday night showdown vs. Bowling Green (1-1), who is coming off a bye week after falling to Penn State 34-27 back in week 1.

The Aggies entered last weekend with plenty on the line while dealing with significant adversity after starting quarterback Conner Weigman was sidelined due to a shoulder injury revealed later in the week, vaulting backup dual-threat signal caller Marcel Reed into the lineup.

Reed looked like a seasoned veteran in his first career start, throwing for 178 yards and two touchdowns while racking up 83 rushing yards and a score. However, A&M’s running game stole the day. The offensive line played with consistent physicality, opening up running holes that led to 310 yards on the ground.

The Falcons present another challenge for A&M’s shaky but improved run defense. Head coach Mike Elko will not announce Saturday’s starting quarterback until moments before kickoff. However, Texas A&M’s media team provided an exciting game trailer narrated by senior wide receiver Jahdae Walker to watch ahead of what should be an entertaining matchup.

Texas A&M will host Bowling Green on Saturday, Sept. 21. The game will be available to stream on ESPN+ and SEC Network+.
