South Jersey Mean 15 football rankings following Week 3

Winslow quarterback Jalen Parker will lead the Eagles into one of the most anticipated games of the season this weekend.

After an incredible weekend of football in South Jersey this past weekend, what’s in store for the coming weekend?

It might be the most anticipated weekend on the calendar.

Before some of the biggest games are decided on the field, we take a look at the latest South Jersey Mean 15 rankings.

South Jersey Mean 15 rankings

Millville (4-0, last week’s ranking: 1). The Thunderbolts continued to show they are the most complete team in the region during a 36-7 win over Washington Township. Lotzeir Brooks scored twice, raising his career TD total to 75, and moved within 50 receiving yards of reaching the 4,000-yard plateau. Next: Friday vs. Winslow (4-0).

Winslow (4-0, 2). The Eagles prepped for their mega-showdown with Millville with a 21-7 win over visiting St. Augustine. Quarterback Jalen Parker completed 16 of 18 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns to NaKeem Powell and Cam Miller. Winslow’s defense was even more impressive, holding the Hermits to just 85 total yards. Next: Friday at Millville (4-0).

St. Augustine (3-1, 3). The Hermits yielded 21 points for the first time this season and third time in their last 15 games during a 21-7 loss at Winslow. Julian Turney gave St. Augustine a 7-0 lead in the second quarter on a 34-yard touchdown run, but the team ran for minus-5 yards on its other 24 carries. Next: Friday vs. Mainland (3-1).

Mainland (3-1, 7). After watching a state-best 16-game winning streak end last week, the Mustangs rebounded in a big way with a 31-0 home rout over Cherokee. Chase Hoag and Rocco DeBlasio each rushed for touchdowns while John Franchini fired a pair of TD passes to Jake Blum to power…
