The Deuce Knight saga continues, this time with more potential good news for Notre Dame

Recruiting

It has hard to get a read on where Notre Dame football 2025 quarterback commit Deuce Knight actually wants to play next season.

He committed to the Irish just over a year ago, and initially seemed to be all in. Then rumors came that he was wavering, which saw the 6-foot, 5-inch and 206-pound quarterback make visits to Ole Miss and Auburn.

Of those two teams with the highest probability of completing the flip, it has to be the Tigers, as Knight has been to multiple of their home games this year. He also has an official visit to see them again this coming weekend.

While it may seem like the writing on the wall doesn’t favor Notre Dame, On3’s Steve Wiltfong believes that a return trip to South Bend could be in the works when the Irish host Stanford on October 12th. If true, this, along with other factors like the Auburn team in disarray, would be big news for the Blue & Gold.

So far, Knight has only scheduled the one official, getting him back on campus is a must for Notre Dame.
