Alabama football vs Georgia injury report: Will Qua Russaw play Saturday?

Alabama football outside linebacker Qua Russaw is probable for Saturday’s prime-time game against Georgia, according to the SEC student-athlete availability report Wednesday.

On Monday, Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said Russaw (lower leg) is “still taking the steps, still working through the situation,” but that he is “optimistic” for the outside linebacker’s return.

Alabama safety Malachi Moore is not listed on the report after a concussion forced him out of the Crimson Tide’s win against Wisconsin. On his “Hey Coach” radio show, DeBoer said Moore will “be back” against Georgia and “he’s been out there working.”

Alabama running back Richard Young is probable after leaving the Crimson Tide’s win against Wisconsin with what DeBoer described as a lower-leg injury similar to Russaw. On Monday, DeBoer said Young is “working back slowly.”

Alabama wide receiver Cole Adams (arm) was not listed ahead of the Georgia game. DeBoer said Alabama is “working (Adams) back slowly” during Georgia practices and that Adams took “positive steps” toward a return during the Crimson Tide’s off week.

Alabama will kick off against Georgia at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
