Mississippi State football injury report vs Texas: Who’s in and who’s out for Week 5 in SEC

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football has two new wide receivers on its injury report this week.

Creed Whittemore and Trent Hudson are both out despite playing in all four games this season. As expected, quarterback Blake Shapen and running back Keyvone Lee are both listed out too after they suffered injuries in last week’s loss to Florida. Mississippi State (1-3, 0-1 SEC) plays No. 2 Texas (4-0) on Saturday (3:15 p.m., SEC Network).

The Longhorns have nine players named on their injury report. Quarterback Quinn Ewers is questionable.

The SEC newly mandated this season that each team provides injury reports for conference games. The first reports are revealed on Wednesdays and updated daily until the final report 90 minutes before kickoff. The full report is below.
