On Wednesday, the Nebraska Cornhuskers became the latest program to offer one of the premier class of 2027 prospects in the country.
Norwalk, Iowa tight end Luke Brewer, a top-100 prospect in the 2027 recruiting cycle, reported an offer from the Huskers via X.
The Huskers join the Georgia Bulldogs, Iowa Hawkeyes, Iowa State Cyclones, Miami (FL) Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, and Tennessee Volunteers in offering the 6-foot-5, 220-pound tight end.
Brewer is ranked by Rivals as the No. 58 player in the 2027 recruiting class in the country. It’s no surprise that the Iowa Hawkeyes have already made the rising star prospect a priority.
The Huskers do not hold any commitments in their 2027 recruiting class but recently landed a commitment in the 2026 recruiting cycle from Buford, Georgia quarterback Dayton Raiola, the younger brother of Huskers starting quarterback Dylan Raiola. The Huskers are also working diligently to continue to build their 2025 recruiting class, which currently holds 19 commitments.
