After Batesville victory, Ryan Knigga is Lawrenceburg’s winningest coach

Ryan Knigga is now Lawrenceburg High School’s all-time winningest football coach.

The Tigers’ 24-0 win over Batesville Friday night was Knigga’s 125th at the helm of Lawrenceburg, where he took over as head coach in 2011. Knigga, a 1996 graduate of Lawrenceburg, passed his former coach Glenn Crocker, who coached the Tigers from 1982 to 1998.

Knigga’s son Noah is a star linebacker for the Tigers. The three-star recruit in the class of 2025 committed to play football at Eastern Michigan this June.
