Florida State football quarterback DJ Uiagalelei may have suffered a “long-term injury” to a finger on his throwing hand in the Seminoles’ loss at SMU last Saturday, according to reports.
FSU redshirt freshman Brock Glenn is expected to start in Saturday’s ACC game against No. 15 Clemson at Doak Campbell Stadium.
247Sports first reported Monday that Uiagalelei would be sidelined long-term due to his injured finger. ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported that Uiagalelei’s injury is a broken finger.
FSU coach Mike Norvell said following the game that Uiagalelei suffered an injury on his final throw before being replaced by Glenn in the fourth quarter.
