Ohio State remained at No. 3 in the major polls following its 38-7 win at Michigan State on Saturday night.
Two teams from the Southeastern Conference were ahead of the Buckeyes.
In the Associated Press poll, Alabama was ranked No. 1, followed by Texas at No. 2, after prevailing over Georgia in a dramatic 41-34 victory on Saturday night. The Crimson Tide and Longhorns were flip-flopped in the US LBM coaches poll.
Both major polls had Tennessee at No. 4 and the Bulldogs at No. 5 to round out the top-five. The rest of the rankings are below.
