What Kansas State coach Chris Klieman said about Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter

Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman said Monday he is “amazed” by Colorado football star Travis Hunter.

Welcome to the club.

The Wildcats (4-1) have two weeks to prepare for Hunter and the Buffaloes (4-1) before they meet in Boulder for a Week 7 showdown (both teams have a Week 6 bye).

Here’s what else Klieman had to say about Hunter, Shedeur Sanders and the Colorado football team:

Chris Klieman on Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and Colorado football

“Obviously watched a couple of games and they’re great players. I think Shedeur Sanders is one of the best quarterbacks in the country without a doubt. They have a bunch of wideouts. Everybody talks about Hunter — and Hunter, he might be the top pick in the draft, because I’m just amazed that kid plays every snap of defense and every snap of offense. That’s so impressive for what he’s able to do.

“They have so many receivers who can beat you so for us, we have to come up with a really good plan on defense. We’re just starting that now but we have to come up with a great plan to have a chance to try to at least control them a little bit.”
