Alabama football injury update: Who’s on initial SEC availability report before Vanderbilt

After coach Kalen DeBoer gave injury updates on both wide receiver Kendrick Law and defensive back DeVonta Smith on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday, Alabama football released its initial SEC availability report ahead of the Crimson Tide’s meeting with Vanderbilt Saturday.

Law, who left Saturday’s win against Georgia with a lower-body injury, was listed as questionable for the Vanderbilt game. DeBoer said Wednesday Law is “day-to-day” and doing “everything he can to get out there.”

Smith did not appear on Alabama’s injury report Wednesday after leaving twice in the win against the Bulldogs. DeBoer said Wednesday Smith was battling cramps against Georgia and has been “practicing all week” ahead of the Vanderbilt game.

Alabama listed linebacker Justin Jefferson as probable.
