Who is next up for Notre Dame and its pursuit for a 2025 quarterback

Notre Dame football was hit with news that many had been expecting, 2025 quarterback Deuce Knight flipped his commitment and is now part of the Auburn Tigers class.

It leaves the Irish looking for a replacement, a job that will not be easy for head coach Marcus Freeman and offensive coordinator Mike Denbrock. Why, you ask? Well according to the 247Sports 2025 composite quarterback rankings, thirty-nine of the top forty prospects have already made a commitment.

It’s slim pickings for any team looking to fill that need, so Notre Dame has its work cut out for them. Here are five targets that I’d like to see the Irish turn up the heat on.

Antwann Hill

The 6-foot, 5-inch and 215-pounder is committed to Memphis, but Notre Dame would be a much better situation. He already has an Irish offer, and they should circle the wagons on Hill.

Bear Bachmeier

The Irish were in consideration when Bachmeier made his choice to commit to Stanford. The Cardinal offer almost exactly what the Irish can with athletics and academics, but luring him away from his come state of California will be tough.

Jamar Malone

The lone uncommitted prospect inside the top-40, the 6-foot, 2-inch and 205-pounder does not have a Notre Dame offer. The Irish should reach out to see if the two parties are a match.
