Can Oklahoma State football turn season around after another disappointing first month?

This time last year, Oklahoma State was reeling.

The Cowboys suffered back-to-back losses in late September. South Alabama had curb stomped the Cowboys 33-7 in Stillwater. A week later, OSU lost at Iowa State.

Then came an orange-and-black October resurgence. OSU went 4-0 in the month, which marked the beginning of seven wins for the Cowboys over their final eight regular season games.

After that two-loss September, the Cowboys made it to the Big 12 Championship Game.

Deja vu, anyone? Oklahoma State can only hope.

Unlikely, but possible. We’re only a year removed from watching the Cowboys claw out of their grave by Halloween.
