Before Alabama football touched down in Nashville, Tennessee for Saturday’s meeting against Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide social media team was already poking fun at the expected fan atmosphere at FirstBank Stadium.
In a graphic posted on Alabama football’s social media account, the team trolled Vanderbilt by putting quotes around the Crimson Tide being “away” Saturday afternoon.
At kickoff for Alabama vs. Vanderbilt, the Crimson Tide social media team saw it was correct.
Of the limited capacity of 28,934 at FirstBank Stadium due to an ongoing construction project, the majority of fans donned Alabama colors.
On Sept. 28, Alabama secured a signature win against Georgia in front of 100,077 fans at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide has 60 wins in 83 meetings against Vanderbilt.
