Florida State-Clemson ‘College GameDay’ predictions: Who picked Seminoles, Tigers?

The 2024 college football season has not gotten off to an ideal start for Florida State football.

The Seminoles (1-4, 1-3 ACC) opened the season ranked No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and other national polls, but FSU has stumbled off to a rough start, coming off a 12-1 season last year. Coming off a tough road loss to SMU last weekend, the Seminoles now face the first-ranked team on their schedule in No. 14 Clemson, on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Redshirt freshman Brock Glenn earns the start for FSU at quarterback after former Clemson QB DJ Uiagalelei exited the game against the Mustangs with a hand injury and could miss significant time. The Seminoles are looking to win their first home game against the Tigers since 2014, while Clemson coach Dabo Swinney will look to surpass Bobby Bowden for most career wins by an ACC coach on the field named after Bowden.

Here’s who the ESPN “College GameDay” crew picked to win Saturday’s ACC matchup between FSU and Clemson, including Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Lee Corso and guest picker former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch:
