No. 21 Texas A&M football (4-1, 2-0 SEC) hosts No. 9 Missouri (4-0, 1-0) on Saturday in Kyle Field.
It is a clash between two SEC powers looking for their fifth win of the season and to prove their legitimacy in a tough SEC. With the expanded playoffs, this matchup could loom large if one of these programs were to end with just two or three losses.
Brady Cook and the Tigers offense come to College Station looking to test the Aggies’ defense, which is led by pass-rushing tandem Nic Scourton and Shemar Stewart fresh off a big performance against rival Arkansas. The Aggies racked up three sacks and 10 tackles for a loss against the Razorbacks.
The Aggies head into the matchup once again, monitoring starting quarterback Conner Weigman (AC Joint) as coach Elko states he will be a game-time decision for the fourth week in a row. Another absence from Weigman would set the stage for redshirt freshman Marcel Reed to get his fourth start of the season after going 3-0 in his first three outings.
