Who was the South Jersey High School Football Star of Week 5? Cast your vote here

Week 5 of the high school football season is in the books and it was another week of outstanding performances.

Read about the Top 15 here and cast your vote for who you think had the best week below. Voting will be open until Thursday morning.

Northern Burlington’s Brent Walulak was last week’s winner, piling up 50 percent of the 16.3K votes recorded. Camden’s Christian Braxton and Clayton’s Demetris Williams rounded out the top three vote getters.

Performances of the Week

Sayvien Adams, Rancocas Valley. The junior quarterback continued to pile up the season stats during a 28-7 win over Williamstown. He threw for 211 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 86 yards in the game. For the season, Adams has thrown for 1,170 yards and 14 TDs to go along with 507 yards and four scores on the ground.

Mekhi Brown, Highland. The senior ran 28 times for 222 yards and two scores during the Tartans’ 41-16 loss to Notre Dame. He’s carried the football 20-or-more times in three straight weeks and eclipsed 200 yards in two of those three games.

Murad Campfield, Cherokee. The senior rushed 39 times for 216 yards – both career-high totals – during a 7-3 victory over rival Shawnee. It marked the second time Campfield surpassed 200 yards rushing in a game this season.

Logan Dawson, Eastern. The senior quarterback completed 8 of 10 passes for 143 yards and two touchdowns as the Vikings pinned a 27-2 loss on Trenton. Dawson has thrown for seven touchdowns on the season, five in the last three weeks. He also doesn’t have an interception over the same…
