Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes have an excellent opportunity in Week 7 of the college football season.
The No. 18-ranked Kansas State Wildcats travel to Boulder on Saturday for a nationally televised (ESPN) showdown.
Both teams had impressive wins over Big 12 opponents before a Week 6 bye. The Buffs beat UCF 48-21 despite being 14-point underdogs, and the Wildcats knocked off No. 20 Oklahoma State 42-20.

“There’s a lot of concerns that we have, obviously. On the offensive side, I think (Shedeur) Sanders will be the first quarterback picked off the board (in 2025 NFL Draft). He should be. In the film that I’ve seen of a lot of the top guys, I think he’s an excellent thrower. You can’t really confuse him. I’ve seen a lot of different teams try to manipulate coverage and disguise and he does a really good job pre-snap to post-snap. He can make all the throws and has a lot of guys to throw the football to.
“On defense, they’re going to be aggressive. We’re going to probably see a lot of man coverage and some pressure so we have to be able to win in man coverage and we have to be able to find ways to run the football.”
