Florida football running back Treyaun Webb and wide receiver Marcus Burke are out for Saturday’s game at No. 8 Tennessee (7 p.m., ESPN), per the SEC’s student-athlete availability report released on Wednesday.
Webb, a sophomore from Jacksonville, also sat out UF’s 24-13 win over UCF last Saturday. For the season, the 5-foot-11, 211-pound Webb has rushed for 98 yards on 21 carries with 1 TD for the Florida Gators (3-2, 1-1 SEC).
Burke also sat out the UCF game after injuring himself in warmups and has 3 catches for 45 yards and a touchdown on the season.
Wide receivers Eugene Wilson III and Aidan Mizell are not on the injury report, signaling a good chance they will both return for the matchup against the Vols. Wilson, with 13 catches for 191 yards and a touchdown, has sat out UF’s last three games with a knee injury. Mizell (6 catches, 77 yards, TD) sat out the UCF game.
Florida’s starting left tackle, Austin Barber, is listed as questionable, along with safeties Asa Turner, DJ Douglas and Bryce Thornton, who made his first career interception to help seal UF’s win over UCF.
Defensive lineman Joey Slackman also is listed as questionable.
Tennessee standout wide receiver Bru McCoy has been ruled probable for the game. McCoy injured his hand during UT’s 19-14 loss at Arkansas.
