PISCATAWAY – After suffering its first loss of the season on the road at Nebraska, Rutgers football will be back at home on Saturday for another Big Ten test.
The Scarlet Knights will host Wisconsin at SHI Stadium looking to earn their fifth win of the season and beat the Badgers for the first time in program history.
While Wisconsin, which is coming off a blowout win over Purdue, might not be as dangerous as past seasons, it’s still plenty formidable.
And in the Big Ten?
Anything is possible any given weekend.
That’s not lost on Rutgers.
“Two weeks ago (against Washington), we came out on the right end of it,” coach Greg Schiano said. “Last week, we didn’t. You’ve got to fight in this league and figure out how to come out on top. That’s our goal. That’s what we are trying to figure out how to do.”
