Texas football and Steve Sarkisian continue to pillage Florida State’s 2025 recruiting class.
The Longhorns flipped another Seminoles commit on Thursday, when four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon announced via social media that he was joining Texas’ class. The news comes just over a month after Myron Charles, another former FSU pledge, flipped to the Longhorns.
Listed at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, McCutcheon plays his high school football for Lovejoy in Lucas, Texas.
He is ranked as the No. 107 overall prospect nationally by the 247Sports Composite and is considered the No. 14 wide receiver in the 2025 cycle and the No. 20 player in the state of Texas.
McCutcheon is the fifth top-20 player in Texas to commit to the Longhorns in the 2025 class. Sarkisian signed three of Texas’ top-20 players in the 2024 cycle after inking six such players in 2023.
