Utah football has had two weeks to reflect on a tough home loss to Arizona in Week 5.
Coming off a Week 6 bye week, the Utes (4-1, 1-1 Big 12) now travel to Tempe, Arizona, to take on Arizona State (4-1, 1-1) in a Big 12 matchup, one that fans are more used to watching in the Pac-12. The Sun Devils lead the all-time series between the two programs 22-12, but the Utes have won six of the last 10 matchups, including a 55-3 blowout last year in Salt Lake City.

Utah, playing without usual starting QB Cam Rising, amassed 364 total yards of offense but could only muster 10 points in the loss to the Wildcats due to two turnovers. The Utes’ lone touchdown came early in the fourth quarter, with the team trailing 16-3. Utah never got closer. Per Brett McMurphy, Cameron Rising is to return this week after missing the last three games.
The Sun Devils are coming off a 35-31 victory over Kansas at home. Sam Levitt had four passing touchdowns in the win, while Cam Skattebo added 182 rushing yards and a touchdown. Arizona State was coming off a 30-22 loss in Week 4 ahead of a Week 5 bye.
