The Illinois football team is ranked No. 21 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll on Sunday after a 50-49 overtime win over one-win Purdue.

The Illini (5-1) likely will be ranked in this week’s The Associated Press Top 25. That poll is released later Sunday.

The Illini return to the field for an Oct. 19 home game against Michigan at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Illinois. The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and is set to broadcast on CBS.
