Fletcher named UAC Freshman of the Week

Oct. 14—Former West Morgan star and current UNA freshman football player Jalen Fletcher was named the United Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.

The honor comes on the heels of UNA’s 47-34 win over Abilene Christian, which was the school’s first win ever over a top 10 FCS team. In the game Fletcher rushed 10 times for 123 yards and a touchdown.

Fletcher has rushed 36 times for 307 yards and a touchdown, while also caching four passes for 79 yards and another score this season. He has received the UAC Freshman of the Week honor three times this season.
