Kickoff time, TV channel revealed for Wisconsin Badgers Week 9 game vs. Penn State

The Wisconsin Badgers will square off against the Penn State Nittany Lions at 7:30 p.m. ET, 6:30 p.m. CT on Oct. 26 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.

The contest will mark Wisconsin’s fifth Big Ten game of the 2024 season: the first four were at USC (a 38-21 loss), vs. Purdue (a 52-6 win), at Rutgers (a 42-7 win) and at Northwestern (Oct. 19). The game against the Nittany Lions will also air nationally on NBC.

Wisconsin last received a national broadcast when it traveled to Los Angeles, California for its Week 4 game against the Trojans. Two weeks earlier, FOX covered UW’s third game of the season against the No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide.

This will also be the second time Wisconsin will play at 7:30 p.m. ET this season. Luke Fickell’s group secured a 28-14 victory in the late window against the Western Michigan Broncos in their opening game of the 2024 slate.

Wisconsin will enter the game against Penn State at either 5-2 or 4-3. The Nittany Lions, meanwhile, currently hold one of the more impressive resumes in all of college football.

At 6-0, James Franklin’s team is ranked No. 3 in the nation behind No. 2 Oregon and No. 1 Texas. The squad has collected notable wins against No. 22 Illinois in Week 5 and USC in overtime in Week 7.

Wisconsin has dropped five straight against the Nittany Lions dating back to 2012. Wisconsin fell 16-10 in its most recent contest against Penn State in Week 1 of the 2021 season. Its last win vs. the Big Ten foe was on Nov. 26, 2011.

If the Badgers wish to end the drought, Fickell’s team will need to lean on its schemes from both the Purdue and Rutgers wins. Penn State, however, is an entirely different beast.
