Florida Atlantic head coach Tom Herman is in top position to keep one of Palm Beach County’s most electric high school football players home.
Atlantic star wide receiver Teddy Hoffmann announced his commitment to the Owls on Monday evening via his personal Instagram account.
Hoffmann, a three-star prospect per 247 Sports, previously committed to Appalachian State during the summer. The 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver has 13 total offers.
He committed two days after taking an official visit to FAU on Saturday for the Owls’ 41-37 loss to North Texas.

Hoffmann has been the No. 1 target in Atlantic’s dynamic passing attack after transferring to the Eagles from Saint Andrew’s this offseason.
The senior has caught 23 passes for 396 yards and six touchdowns in six games for Atlantic, which is off to a 5-1 start to the regular season.
At Saint Andrew’s, Hoffmann caught more than 50 passes and scored 15 touchdowns in each of the last two seasons, putting himself on pace to finish his varsity with more than 2,000 career receiving yards.
