Vote: Who should be The Oklahoman’s 2024 midseason All-State Offensive Player of the Year?

November is approaching, which means it’s almost time for the Oklahoma high school football postseason.

The Oklahoman has compiled a watch list for our 2024 All-State Offensive Player of the Year, and we want to know your opinions.

Who are the frontrunners for Offensive Player of the Year?

Fans can vote in the poll until noon Wednesday, Oct. 23. Here are the 15 nominees. This doesn’t mean they are the only players under consideration – new candidates could arise during playoffs – but these nominees have made impressions throughout the regular season.

The Oklahoman’s 2024 All-State midseason Offensive Player of the Year candidates

Grady Adamson, QB, Sr., Deer Creek: The Georgia Tech commit has completed 89 of 124 passes (71.8%) for 1,269 yards with 17 touchdowns and two interceptions. Adamson has also run for 363 yards and nine scores.

Jax Bernard, QB, Sr., Fairview: He’s having another dominant year for Fairview, which has won 36 straight games and claimed the Class A state title the last two seasons. Last week, Bernard surpassed 10,000 career passing yards, becoming just the seventh player in state history to do so.

Cruz Campbell, QB, Jr., Tuttle: The Southmoore transfer is 77-of-109 passing (70.6%) for 1,439 yards with 19 touchdowns and one interception.

Kale Charboneau, QB, Sr., Wagoner: He has completed 88 of 144 passes for 1,355 yards with 14 touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for 368 yards and 13 scores. Also a standout linebacker, Charboneau has solid numbers on defense with 43 tackles and three sacks.
