STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football sustained injuries to its defense in last week’s loss at Georgia.
The Bulldogs’ injury report, released on Wednesday, lists starting defensive lineman Kedrick Bingley-Jones as doubtful, and safeties Brylan Lanier and Tyler Woodard as questionable. Mississippi State (1-5, 0-3 SEC) hosts No. 14 Texas A&M (5-1, 3-0) at Davis Wade Stadium on Saturday (3:15 p.m. CT, SEC Network).
Texas A&M ruled out three players, while backup quarterback Jaylen Henderson is doubtful and defensive back Terry Bussey is questionable.
The SEC newly mandated this season that each team provides injury reports for conference games. The first reports are revealed on Wednesdays and updated daily until the final report 90 minutes before kickoff. The full report is below.
