Army football bids for its first 7-0 season start since 1996, and a deeper hold on the lead in the American Athletic Conference when the Black Knights host the East Carolina Pirates.
Army has never won in eight meetings with ECU, with all games played between 1995-2004. Both schools were members of Conference USA between 1998-2004 – now they are members of the AAC.
The Black Knights (6-0) will play their fourth home game of the season. Army is coming off a 44-10 win over Alabama Birmingham on Oct. 12. ECU (3-3) opened with wins over Norfolk State and Old Dominion; lost to Appalachian State and Liberty; topped Texas San Antonio; and, last week lost at Charlotte 55-24.
