Saturday will mark the 107th meeting between Tennessee and Alabama football. The Third Saturday in October contest is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT at Neyland Stadium (ABC).

Fourth-year Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel is playing for his second win over the Crimson Tide. Tennessee and Heupel defeated Alabama, 52-49, in Nick Saban’s final game at Neyland Stadium on Oct. 15, 2022.

The Vols are also playing for consecutive wins against Alabama at Neyland Stadium for the first time since 2004 and 2006.

“This rivalry has been around a long time, before Nick Saban was a part of it or I was a part of it,” Heupel said during game week. “The magnitude of this rivalry is the historical nature and what it has meant inside of this league.”
