ESPN College GameDay picks Week 8 winners

ESPN’ College Game Day crew was on location in Austin, Texas, today ahead of the big matchup between No. 1 Texas and No. 5 Georgia.

Notre Dame, of course, is playing Georgia Tech at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It’s not quite the matchup that would draw the crew — but then again, few matchups would compete with the No. 1 team versus one that is still considered one of the best in the country despite dropping to No. 5. At least Notre Dame made the pick list.

This week’s guest picker was pro golfer Scottie Scheffler, who had a little fun with his run-in with the law in Louisville as he picked the winner of Miami (Florida) against the Cardinals.

The gang, including Lee Corso, was all on set in Austin — and former guest picker Mrs. Terry was watching from the side.

Here’s how the group picked the games this week.

Just like with the other experts, the GameDay group was united in predicting Notre Dame. The fans voted for the Irish at 84 percent.
