Very little went right for Texas Saturday night. By a slight edge, the Longhorns defense was better than the offense. But it didn’t matter much.
The defense nabbed two interceptions early in the first half. But the offense, stuck in park all day, couldn’t turn the turnovers into points.
In fact, the Texas offense couldn’t do much of anything, whether Quinn Ewers was at QB or Arch Manning.
Georgia just seemed to want it more. They played harder, tougher and with more grit. And once again, in a huge game against an elite team, the Longhorns failed.
The offense couldn’t block or get open. The defense couldn’t tackle. Not exactly the recipe for winning a football game.
The hype surrounding this game was insane. Texas was showered with love all week. The Georgia players quietly watched and took it personally.
