Saturday night was certainly a disappointing one if you are a fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, as the program fell in Knoxville to the rival Tennessee Volunteers by a final score of 24-17.
Alabama’s second loss of the season, the Crimson Tide carried a 7-0 lead into halftime of the contest, but were outscored a combined 24-10 during the second half by Tennessee. The Crimson Tide also were out-gained in total yardage a combined 408-314, and struggled mightily with penalties, committing 15 for a combined 115 yards.

Stats vs. Tennessee: 8 receptions, 73 yards, 1 TD
Williams continues to distance himself as Alabama’s top wide receiver, hauling in eight receptions for 73 yards and a touchdown Saturday night. The star freshman now has a touchdown reception across six-of-seven games this season, with his eight catches the most in a single game this year.
