Defensive lineman Tyson Bacon committed to Tennessee football in the 2026 recruiting class.
He is the second commitment landed by the Vols since they beat Alabama on Saturday. Notably, Bacon is from Hoover, Alabama.
Bacon, a 6-foot-4, 255-pounder, chose Tennessee after receiving scholarship offers from Florida, Washington, Wisconsin and about a dozen other schools.
Bacon is rated a three-star prospect and the No. 61 defensive linemen by 247Sports, but he doesn’t have a star rating from every major recruiting site.
He is Tennessee’s fourth commitment in the 2026 class, joining five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, three-star linebacker Brandon Anderson and three-star tight end Carson Sneed.
