The Georgia Bulldogs are on their bye week following an emotional 30-15 win over the Texas Longhorns. Georgia will watch Week 9 from home as the Dawgs begin preparing to play the Florida Gators on Nov. 2.
Georgia is 6-1 overall and 4-1 in SEC play. The Bulldogs probably need to win all three of their remaining SEC games in order to advance to the SEC championship. Georgia could afford to lose one game and would probably still make the College Football Playoff.
ESPN’s matchup predictor thinks the Georgia Bulldogs will lose one remaining game during the regular season. The Dawgs have already played one of the most difficult schedules in the nation, but things don’t get easier after Georgia’s bye week. The Bulldogs have two remaining games with ranked opponents and faces two top five scoring defenses. All four of Georgia’s remaining Power Four opponents have winning records.
