NORMAN — Is this the week when OU football will get back wide receiver Deion Burks?
Burks, who has missed the Sooners’ last three games after suffering a soft tissue injury against Tennessee, is questionable to play against Mississippi.
During his coaches show Monday, Venables said Burks was “day-to-day.” Burks was a game time decision against South Carolina last Saturday.
Venables said Tuesday running back Gavin Sawchuk, who is listed as doubtful to play Saturday, strained his quad.
SEC teams must file their reports Wednesday before a Saturday conference game and update them daily until 90 minutes before kickoff.
