Ross, you went out to Annapolis on uh this week to talk to Navy midshipman and their big game against Notre Dame Pat.
You’re covering that game this weekend.
It is up in Metlife Stadium in uh New Jersey.
It’s kind of a playoff eliminator for both teams, which is, uh which is interesting.
But what, what are the, uh what are they saying over there in Navy?
Other than, yes, sir, it is buzzing there for sure.
Um First bowl game, you know, they qualify for a bowl already, six games in first bowl game since 2019, 1st time.
They’re six and oh, since 1979 I believe.
Um, so a lot of excitement and um around the, around the program, what they’re doing first year, offensive coordinator, Drew Kronic kind of installed that they kind of run like a, a really messed up offense of the trip.
The, the option, the veer option, the, the um uh like a shotgun based kind of screen type of game.
And then the wing t they, they do a lot of, they do a lot of crazy stuff and uh it’s, uh, it’s really fun to watch them play Um, and I, I wrote a story at Yahoo.
Uh, they dropped this morning, uh, about army and navy.
Right.
Both, uh, just kind of together, uh, undefeated, um, for the first time since World War Two don’t offer nil between them.
They have two transfers between them.
Each, each team has one transfer on, on the team.
And obviously they’re gonna like opt out, you know, of the revenue sharing.
They’re just very different right in the, in a world where all the talk is…
