Missouri State football is going back to its Christian Brothers College pipeline and is adding a big body to its tight end room.
Jackson Kohl, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound tight end, announced his commitment to the Bears on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Thursday morning.
Kohl is a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite. He held over a dozen FBS offers before choosing the Bears who will move to the subdivision in Conference USA next season.
His offers included Indiana, Iowa State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Duke, Michigan State, Nebraska and others.
Missouri State has found recent success recruiting CBC (St. Louis) with redshirt freshman linebacker Michael Teason proving to be someone who will be in the position for the next several years.
Kohl has seven catches for 82 yards this season for the Cadets.
