MARION — Four teams are unofficially heading to the high school football playoffs from the Marion area.
Northmor, River Valley and Pleasant already knew their fate before Friday night, while Elgin won its way into the postseason.
To recognize the achievements made in the regular season finales across the region, here is the final high school football poll of the the year.
The nominees for the Marion Star Football Player of Week 10 Poll are below. Fans are encouraged to vote as often as allowed at MarionStar.com and its app through early Tuesday morning.

Week 10 Nominees
● Elgin’s Gavin Rhodes ran for 134 yards on 14 carries and scored a 61-yard touchdown in a win over Hardin Northern.
● Mount Gilead’s Eliot Jones ran 10 times for 108 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown in a win over Cardington.
● Cardington’s Kalin Briggs caught all five of the team’s receptions for 130 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown catch, plus he rushed in a touchdown during a loss to Mount Gilead.
● North Union’s Nick Vanhoose ended with 105 rushing yards on 24 carries, plus had 11 tackles on defense in a loss to Indian Lake.
● Marion Harding’s Ray J Scott-Harbolt caught nine passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Galion.
● Northmor’s Cowin Becker only rushed five times, but he ended with three touchdowns and 154 yards in a win over Loudonville.
