Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa was likely one of the most impressive performances of the season so far for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as the program picked up a shutout victory over the Missouri Tigers at home, 34-0.
After a slow start, Alabama settled in during the second quarter, and rode that momentum all the way to a blowout victory over the Tigers. In all, Alabama out-gained Missouri in total yardage a combined 486-239, and forced three Tigers’ turnovers that were all interceptions.

It did not take Haynes many touches to make an impact in Alabama’s win over Missouri, as he led the Crimson Tide with 79 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries Saturday. Haynes, who also had a reception for two yards, had one of the game’s most highlight-reel plays as well, rushing for a 35-yard touchdown in the second half.
